This online fundraiser is necessary to ensure that the PTO budget remains fully funded through our next auction in the spring of 2019.
Remember the Fiske PTO budget covers the cost of the following programs:
Curriculum support through Creative Arts and STEM programs
Digital tools used in the classroom and at home (Raz Kids, Dreambox, etc.)
Community events including Bingo, Science Fair, World Heritage Night and the Year-End Picnic
Riding on the Fiske Float and marching in the annual Wellesley Memorial Day Parade
Fifth Grade Activities to Celebrate the Graduating Class
Classroom support from the Teachers Classroom Fund to donating books for the library
The PTO spends approximately $300 per student annually to provide enriching and educational services throughout the school year. We are suggesting a tax deductible contribution of $150 per child. This suggested contribution is the minimum that we need to maintain current budget number, however we gratefully accept any amount that you can contribute.
Be on the lookout for a flyer and donation envelope that will go home via backpack mail today. Updates and more information will be sent out via Room Parent emails throughout the campaign. In the meantime, get into the giving spirit and support the Fiske PTO.
